I second your proposal... but I think mixer-x is not a good name...
I think xmixer would be better... don't know, mixer-x sounds like
an specific mixer (but hey, xmixer does also...)
also... mixer is a very ordinary name... audio-mixer would avoid
name clashes, and make things easier to understand, IMO
