The moderators may maintain such a list themselves, for example they may
automatically allow postings from addresses they have seen before.
There are probably other useful methods to detect valid postings. If we
implement the 'subscribers can post directly, others are moderated'
scheme, the moderators can add serveral rules to automatically allow
certain mails to the list. So their job would basically be assuring that
no valid posts get dropped by some filter rules.
