There is one generic interface that all graphical cards support. It's
called "VGA" and it supports resolutions up to 640x480 with 16 colors or
320x200 at 256 colors (but I doubt you'd want the latter)

I've given you an answer to this question at least twice now. How many
times are you going to ask again?

Create a root-system that fits in a RAM-disk (the actual size of the disk
will depend on the amount of RAM in the system; don't try to use more than
half of it). On that system, put everything you need to be able to access
across CD changes.

Make sure this disk (which can be put on CD in a compressed state) is
loaded at boot time. You can use initrd for that (but I've never done it,
so don't ask me how it actually works).

while gzip outperforms bzip2 in speed, the latter usually results in
smaller files. So, use bzip2
