I like Slang too, but I could replace it with dialog, anyways. There is
only one feature which I miss in other Frontends: Saving of the note.
OTOH, this feature seems to be broken in the recent versions of debconf.

You can use X from a an su shell just setting the $XAUTHORITY to
~user/.Xauthority.
Oh, I see, the "Save note" feature is broken in the Gnome frontend too.
Did anyone notice this before or should I file a bugreport?
