Debian needs a nice way to verify and "fix" packages, I feel. We do have "debsums", but not all packages generate md5sums. Maybe I should start filing bug reports against packages that don't have md5sums? (What priority should that be?) Another thing I would like to see, is a "force-install" on apt-get or something... I want to reinstall a package sometimes, don't want to go and download it by hand to be able to use dpkg -i ... These things are esp. useful in the event of e.g. a powerfailure...
