It's very easy for the sponsor to fix this: * create a file klecker:~/.forward-sponsoring-foo, containing your email address and the person your sponsoring * set the Maintainer: field to be Maintainer: Foo (sponsored by Bar) \ <bar-sponsoring-foo@klecker.debian.org> (unfortunately mail to people.debian.org doesn't seem to use the nifty filters) This assumes the sponsors going to be more involved with the package (and the sponsee) than to just upload a package once and then forget about it.
