yes, I am aware of update-rc.d. How do you get it to display
something like the output of chkconfig below? I surely haven't
found a way. One of the things that debian lacks is a sane/simple
tool for managing the symlink tree into /etc/init.d.
ups-monitor 0:off 1:off 2:off 3:off 4:off 5:off 6:off
logoutd 0:off 1:off 2:on 3:on 4:on 5:on 6:off
[...]
nut 0:off 1:off 2:on 3:on 4:on 5:on 6:off
