Re: Python is now GPL-compatible again!

In short: Preliminary packages of 2.0.1c1 are already on
http://people.debian.org/~flight/python2. I haven't yet uploaded them to
master since
(a) it's a release candidate only and I wanted to wait for bugs that show
up
(b) I wanted to spend this time making up a plan for migration from 1.5.2
to 2.0.
My goal is indeed to convert all python- packages to Python 2.0.1 in time
for the woody release. This would involve changes to all python- packages,
though. I think we should discuss this on the debian-python list.
