Hi, I am not a Debian developer, but I am a keen Debian user who is looking for ways to help the Debian project. When I noticed that the sted package was offered for adoption, I considered this to be the ideal opportunity for me to get involved. Do I have to go through the New Maintainer process before I can adopt a package, or does the adoption come first? Dafydd Harries
