Hrm, lessee...  You submit an inflammatory bug on a package, then come
running to debian-devel when the maintainer unsurprisingly responds with
a curt close message.

Was the intent of your bug report truly to resolve an issue in Debian? 
Or were you merely attempting to show how clever you are and further
degrade the S:N on this list?

If the former, then a polite direct to the maintainer or this list
asking the rationale for the ash/ash-medium split would almost certainly
have been more fruitful than a presumptuous and sarcastic `important'
bug.
