I had the same problem with the libxpm package. I used to it to have a
working Corel wordperfect, but it disappeared from unstable. I got it
from woody, but it doesn't seem to work very well. Hey, I only tried it
with a strange rtf document anyway. But oldlibs are often used for
commercial packages.
