/usr/sbin special?
I'm in the process of creating a Debian package for the GNU Ada
Environment Specification and the associated scripts (see
http://cert.uni-stuttgart.de/projects/ada/gnae.php).
The New Maintainers' Guide mentions that that /usr/sbin is somewhat
special (as it should not be used by your first package). Are there
any criteria for programs which may/have to go to /usr/sbin?
On Debian, the program in question, 'adainstall', is only needed for
creating Debian packages of Ada modules. It's similar to 'install',
but it chooses the destination directory (under /usr/share/ada and
/usr/lib/ada) based on the file extension and some flags specified on
the command line.
