Why a new tool for uploading? Well, I sometimes got still bitten by bug
85779 (a .upload file is written even if upload fails). Atfer that I
looked at the BTS and the buglist often dupload. I read quite some of
those reports and looked at dupload itself and thaught about either
working on that old code and try to get those bugs fixed or rewrite
dupload in python. I decided to rewrite it, because that looked easier
for me then fixing the bugs in dupload and removing old unneeded code.
Therefor I started to write dput and now (with version 0.5), I would say
that the functioniality of dput is superior to dupload now. And I plan
to enhance dput in the future even more. Was that enough on the history
of dput?

Ciao
