No it isn't!
There is no need for standards on my webserver, my mailserver, the
workstations of the "HTML-programmers", my testserver or any other
machine then the one I'm using cause I'm the only one playing at that
level of the system. (An even then it has been very rare I have used
RFC's for pure sytem administration.)
