The reason for making a computer program of the bible, is to be able to
do searching and quick cross-referencing. I use it on a laptop, which I
have to carry anyway; then I don't need to carry a book as well. Someone
may want to pipe it to a speech synthesis program. There are many uses
for text on computer rather than on paper.
A long time ago, a data section of the archive was proposed, to hold
things like texts. Nothing ever came of it.
