For the curious, Chris has released a version of vsftpd more or less
ready for packaging; I'll try to get it packaged by early this week.

While it has not undergone the auditing and testing that he intends to
put it through, it's still a remarkable piece of software, and probably
the most reliable ftpd available right now.
