Hot swapping is supported by the Linux RAID code, at least for RAID0,
RAID4, and RAID5 (why does the man page for raidhotadd not specify
RAID1? Is this a mistake?).
However, it is not supported by most IDE interfaces (not sure about
SCSI).
So, as a result, you can't hotswap to a new hard disk unless you
already have it installed :-(.
