All I know about oidentd is that it handles masquerading (2.2.x) and NAT
(2.4.x). What else does it do?
ident2 allows per-user configuration (if the sysadmin allows) via
~/.ident. You can set:
* a fake ident reply
* the real ident reply
* no ident reply at all.
All this configurable per-user. Rather cool, I thought.
