vsh port to Debian current

I have ported the old visual shell
(vsh) to Debian current stable, and will
be glad to dpkg this if Debian wants it.

vsh as it comes out of the package will
not build on Debian current (despite claims
for Linux compatibility); however, I have
made the required changes and have tested that
the port functions. The source from which
I started is: 
sunsite.unc.edu /pub/Linux/utils/file/managers
104kb vsh.tar.gz 
and the reference URL is
http://www.yggdrasil.com/bible/LSM/lsm1039.html

I do not want to subscribe to the various
lists because I do not have the room for
the email traffic.

How should I proceed?  Please reply.
