Re: SPI violating bylaws and Debian constitution



Every item in your list is an SPI bylaws issue, and has nothing to do with
the corporate charter. I don't see what this has to do with the Debian
constitution either.

Dispite the fact that the constitution makes some vague relationship
statements about SPI and Debian, there is no responsibility from Debian to
correct any of the "violations" you have indicated. 

In any case, you can't necessarily imply that no "annual meeting" was held
simply because the paperwork (reports) for that meeting have failed to
appear. As someone else pointed out, these reports can be delivered with
quite some bit of delay.

So, while I agree with your sentiments about SPI in general, it isn't
clear to me that this is a Debian Constitution issue, or even a genuine
problem for Debian. (Not that we don't have some genuine problems)
