We need dip at westfalen.de, so I'm going to adopt it. I see it's currently not even compiling; both gcc changes (in asm constraints) and system include/lib changes, it seems. I might try to start with the (more recently maintained) RedHat version instead; I'll have to look more closely at the differences.
