I don't think that Roland reported to Hotmail but there were probably
enough angry subscribers to debian-devel which reported you as a Spammer.
Which is no wonder actually, I would have done the same but I have given
up on the SPAM issue.

Actually by writing to debian-devel you write to at least 500 persons
all over the world. Also debian-devel never sends mail much less spam.
Anyway, by answering spam one gets what one deserves. The return address
of spam mail is seldom valid since the spammer would get flooded with
complaints.

Reposting is exactly what you have done. Don't repost SPAM ever - it's still
spam. If you need to follow up to a spam email quote it at least. Many
netusers are trigger happy if something looks like spam.
