What is status of ftp-master.debian.org and master.debian.org?
Where should new packages be uploaded?
master.debian.org:/home/Debian/ftp/private/project/Incoming allows
uploads, but when one logs into master.debian.org, the following
message appears:
** Incoming has moved to ftp-master.debian.org; please upload there
or use an upload queue.
Note that this message does not appear when scp is used. Uploads via
scp are accepted without complaint.
ftp-master.debian.org:/org/ftp.debian.org/incoming is mounted
read-only, so uploading there doesn't work. There is a message
suggesting that access to /org is intermittent, so this may be a
temporary problem.
potato dupload supports uploading to master, but not ftp-master. I
can't find any relevant postings in debian-devel-announce. If the
upload location has changed, this should be posted to
debian-devel-announce.
Meanwhile, my password to the debian machines has reverted to one I
used many months ago.
If master.debian.org is not being used for incoming, then it should be
used as a queue as long as uploading to
master.debian.org:/home/Debian/ftp/private/project/Incoming is
allowed.
What's going on?
