Based on what Knightbird says---and ignoring the inflammatory way in which he chose to say it---it seems to me that epic4 should be allowed back into potato; for better or worse, I don't think Debian can hold developers to an instantaneous response time for bugs, and the lack of notice about removals seems also to argue in his favor.
