This is highly bizarre. The only thing I can think of is that ftp://ftp.debian.org is different from http://ftp.debian.org. I am using the following: deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian frozen main contrib non-free deb-src http://ftp.debian.org/debian frozen main contrib non-free deb http://pandora.debian.org/debian-non-US unstable non-US/main non-US/contrib non-US/non-free deb-src http://pandora.debian.org/debian-non-US unstable non-US/main non-US/contrib non-US/non-free and can attest that I resolved this problem on my own system over a week ago. -- Zed Pobre <zed@debian.org> a.k.a.
