apache-ssl = perl-5.004?

I attempted to use dselect to install apache-ssl and when I did that the
dependancy list came up and:
  _* Opt non-US apache-ssl Versatile, high-performance HTTP server
  _* Opt non-US libssl09 SSL shared libraries
_* Imp interpre perl Fake package used for a smooth upgrade
_* Opt web apache-commo Support files for all Apache webservers
_* Opt non-US ssleay Secure Socket Layer and related
__ Opt doc apache-doc Apache webserver docs
_* Xtr interpre perl-5.004-d Man pages and pod docs for Perl
**- Req base perl-5.005-b The Pathologically Eclectic Rubbish Lister

I guess after looking closer it seems like a perl problem not a apache
problem.

For some reason the (fake) perl package is depending on perl-5.004-doc
which does not make sence to me. perl-5.004-doc conflicts with perl-5.005
and then programs like mysql and stuff start breing dselected. Which
makes me wonder why packages are relying explicitly on perl-5.005 anyways
(just courious).

Should I try forcing apt-get to install apache-ssl w/o removing 5.005? Or
will this be fixed soon?

(Is there a doc describing what info should be sent to debian-devel and
debian-user cuz I'm not sure where this belongs.)
