And while it's not strictly a Y2K problem, the slink tetex is not able
to (re)create most of the formats due to a LaTeX timebomb, so no
latex, no pdftex, no pdflatex, no etex, ....
Bit of a serious problem, really. (And the fixed package has been in
proposed-updates since December 5th.)
