hey, edlin was actually pretty good. it was great for doing telephone
tech support - you could drive it easily just by saying the commands to
type in...no need to worry about where the user had moved the cursor to.


same can be said for 'ed' too, i suppose...but i don't do phone support
any more (thank the gods (if any exist)).
