Hi!
I got some sort of "unofficial" bugreport about my package. This is the
error message the person got when trying to start maelstrom:
X Error of failed request: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource
denied)
Major opcode of failed request: 129 (MIT-SHM)
Minor opcode of failed request: 3 (X_ShmPutImage)
Serial number of failed request: 94
Current serial number in output stream: 95
These are the libs installed on the reporters machine:
libvgagl.so.1 => /usr/lib/libvgagl.so.1 (0x40017000)
libvga.so.1 => /usr/lib/libvga.so.1 (0x40027000)
libXpm.so.4 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so.4 (0x40076000)
libX11.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6 (0x40084000)
libXext.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.so.6 (0x40123000)
libstdc++-libc6.0-1.so.2 => /usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6.0-1.so.2 (0x4012f000)
libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0x40173000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x40191000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)
Is this error caused by some buggy potato-lib or some slink/potato
incompatibility (maelstrom is currently compiled on a slink-machine)?
Or to put it in other words: Is it my fault or is it SEP?
