No y2k safe stable ---> Debian will suffer...

I see in all the freeze threads that Debian will NOT have
a stable distro that is y2k compliant before the end
of the year.

If this is true, guess what that makes Debian look like...

A lot of Debian users and fans, including me, will have a
problem: do we migrate to unstable or to another -stable- distro...

I don't care if there is a major update of slink with kernel 2.2.13
or somthing, a 'small' potato release followed by a 'bigger', or
-WHATEVER-, just make sure that there is a stable y2k
compliant release before this will be a problem...

Regards,

Onno
