My number one fix would be to fix dselect so that it doesn't use enter
for both leaving the conflict resolution screen (when you select a
pacakge) and for leaving the whole session. I've had a number of
occasions where I accidentally bounced on the enter key and ended up
in the final conflict resolution screen way before I was finished.

This wouldn't be so bad except that I use dselect to wade through the
"new pacakge list", and as soon as you accidentally exit, that info is
lost forever. I'd also be happy with just changing the interface so
that dselect asks you if you really want to enter the final conflict
resolution, of if dselect were changed so that it didn't forget about
the "new" packages list until you told it to. Any of these
modifications would solve my problem.

I know I've griped about this before, but it looks like people might
actually be working on dselect again...
