Yes, it does. Well, it's not the BTS, it's the tool that installs new
versions of packages on the ftp-server (dinstall) (afaik).

And of course it needs a special formatting. This is the Perl regexp:

/closes:\s*(bug)?\#\d+(,\s*(bug)?\#\d+)*/i

Normally it's the maintainer's task to close those bugs.
