The biggest objection to this (we did bring it up) was that currently
3.3.4 has problems in a few places.  If you can get them working as well
as the latest 3.3.3.1 versions (or whatever) for people in a short amount
of time, that might be a worthwhile exception.  It really depends on how
quicking the X 3.3.4 debs become release quality since I think it would be
unwise to agree to release something that's still somewhat broken for a
number of people (not myself though, so I can't comment on these various
issues people have, only that people seem to have them...)
