Re: panel & orbit still don't work



Michael,

What does your .xsession-errors say?  There might
be a clue there.

I found that, for me, starting gnome-name-service
before starting panel solved a similar problem.

Here's my working .xsession:

#!/bin/sh
gnome-name-service &
wsoundserver &
panel &
exec wmaker
