ITP: libxml-xslt-perl (aka XML::XSLT)
XML::XSLT will be (eventually), a library for implementing the XSL
(XML Stylesheet Language) Transformations.
>From the XSL-T draft spec:
> XSLT is a language for transforming XML documents into other XML
> documents.
XML::XSLT is currently a script (but will later become a module)
implementing (currently limited) XSL-T functionality in perl. To the
best of my knowledge, all existing attempts at implementing XSL-T have
been in Java---which is problematic given Java's non-free-ness and the
pain the package itself seems to cause.
Hopefully this will be a nice step in the right direction.
