Not true! You will be more likely to accept you SOONER, not reject you
if you don't do that!

You also must know that none of us who have told people that are memebers of
the new-maintainer team, so that might just be a complete lie. Even if it
is true, and you choose not to adopt a package, but persist wanting to
package/do something else, you gain nothing, you lose nothing.

Anyway, after this whole flamewar we're having, nothing, but NOTHING will
change in the way the new-maintainer team do their work. Do you know why?
Because they have better things to do than to read yet another stupid
flamewar on debian-devel. For example, fixing a release critical bug.
Someone could even be interviewed for joining Debian as I write this!
