This is somewhat a matter of belief. I am a file-rc user myself but I
know some people who won't touch file-rc.
Surely it should be no big deal to provide a conversion tool. Hacking
the file-rc convert script should be possible.
Additionally, I'd like to have a method to invoke certain scripts from
/etc/ppp/ip.d as non-root without having to resort to using su in the
scripts themselves. Maybe an extension to run-parts would be in order?
