Same here. It was a cheap SiS or Elsa Razor card. I can look it up if it is
useful, but keep in mind that those cheap crads are very common out there.

Running VGA16 onthem gave a lot of snow, nothing usable.

There is still the ncurses install, but the evaluation of /proc/pci should
take into account special cases for gfx cards, and act on it.

Also, what bothers me is mouse support. Configuring the mouse can completely
hang the install. Be aware! Also, trying to find a configuration which works
with all three buttons can be a pain with cheap mices. It would be great if
you could improve the code base here.
