I am creating a script that divides a large weekly web access log file
into nearly a thousand site files. Then these are used to create web
based usage reports to be server via HTTP.

FYI: development has been on a Toshiba notebook T1900 (20MB ram,
120MB hd, floppy, 28k modem and 640x480 16 colors) with the orignal
microsoft infestation removed.
