Hu! Thank you very much. That works (RTFM Federico!). Yes, the
PCMCIA system builds a default route even if the card is disconnected
from the network. I would be nice to:

1. have PCMCIA system add default route only if the network is
*really* available (but I don't know how to do that).

2. have the PPP system (pon/poff) juggle with the default routes
when there is some other interface active (if you start pppd you
want the packets go trough it, right?)
