Your dislike is showing Alex :-)

They still use gcc, GNU emacs, and probably a bunch of the fileutils,
sharutils, tar, etc. GNU would still be appropriate IMHO.

Our kernel isn't GNU either, which is why we mention it (Linux).
No problem with Debian GNU/FreeBSD then (name-wise at least).
