The problem has now been identified: the current slink xbase package
does not provide a /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/locale directory, and this kills
Netscape.

I _like_ Netscape 3: it works, it works far faster than Netscape 4,
and it has a much simpler GUI in my humble opinion.  And while
Netscape still offers binaries, why can't we support it?
Incidentally, this is separate from the question of how many different
versions of Netscape 4 or Mozilla we should support.
