Hi,

I just read your mailing list and did not apply for a debian developer,
yet. On my web page you find a locallly packed version of the fwtk 3.1.
Intentionally, I did not upgrade to any later version because of the
TIS copyright restrictions. Apart from smaller bug fixes I taught the
authsrv part how to talk blowfish (or some other ciphers) over CBC. So it
is able to pass authentication and rule permissions over a secured channel.

It has a small api that enables you to control any other application by a
central authsrv instance. As an example I provide for the patches for SSH
1.2.26. The systems compiles out of the box on debian and solaris.

Let me know if somebody is interested in that I put some more work on that,
or that I pack this for debian.

You find that stuff on http://www.teddy-net.com/xftp/Linux/vpn/HOWTO.VPN
(using anonymous/email@address login) or on
ftp://ftp.teddy-net.com/pub/Linux/vpn/HOWTO.VPN.
