There was a package already in main that was the source of the thread and as soon as someone brought up there was a problem someone immediately responded "yank the package now!" I thought hasty action was absurd then and now. And it seems that these licenses are being corrected, which means I was right. Considering that the problems are being fixed upstream, I'm glad I was right. EVERY TIME there is a potential license problem, SOMEONE will immediately post a message saying the package should be removed immediately, without consulting the upstream authors. That's just silly. -- Show me the code or get out of my way.
