Am I the only one who considers this thread FUD?

If encryption hooks were illegal, then what's the mailcrypt package
(PGP interface for Emacs) doing on mit.edu?

Please, don't put mutt-i in non-us (not for the reasons stated...).
Or we'd soon have all of Linux in non-us: it can call encryption
software.  Come to think of it: is the GNU mp lib on ftp.gnu.org?  It
is (if I'm not mistaken) one of the things you'll need for RSA
etc... and given that some people sued the company that makes the
fertilizer used in the Oklahoma City Bombing... (was that successful?)
