This is obviously a bug. Open a bug and the developer (me?) will
promptly fix it. (Mmhhh, at now I don't have very much time... I offered
the tkstep packages more than one time but apparently no-one wants
them -- even if a lot of people actually use them!)

I will upload a fixed version in slink, but don't expect it before 
next monday. Sorry,
