One public apology coming up: that the src.zip file is not included in
the current jdk1.1-dev package is a total & utter screw-up on my part.
New package out today.

That said, the tainting issue re src.zip & clean-room implementation
of java or a JVM are real.  It's your call.

Sorry, John, for my too hasty typing on the bus this morning.  Like I
said, I hadn't had my latte yet. :/

Perl is really designed more for the guys that will hack Perl at least
20 minutes a day for the rest of their career.  TCL/Python is more a
"20 minutes a week", and VB is probably in that "20 minutes a month"
