They release the code under the GPL or LGPL (haven't checked the libraries),
so it is owned by the user community.
Once you release something under the GPL, you can't take a step back.
Even rpm is covered under the GPL, as is most of their software and their
distribution.
Is this all you have to say about it? Where's your daily contribution?
