	How can it? I have 2.1.120 running on my machine, but the
 sources are all gone (I just have 2.0.35 on at the moment). What
 information does the running kernel provide? Surely not header files;
 and we are talking about *building* the code, not running it. 

	If indeed all it needs is the running kernel, and not the
 kernel sources or include files, then surely this discussion is moot?
 I was under the impression that pcmcia modules does need the kernel
 sources in order to build, but I could be wrong.
