I wonder if it makes sense to maintain a page/database/text containing
such projects that got approved but where either nobody was found implementing
it or the person who was found got too busy.

netgod et all: Are there any objections about posting the list of
orphaned packages from main and (dfsg) free packages from the
wnpp wishlist to this list in a weekly or biweekly fashion?
This way I see a bigger chance to find new maintainers for them.
